Emotion in Motion

Will I shudder 

When they flutter

and

Will the flitter 

Make me bitter

or 

Be a trigger 

For something bigger?

No heart e'er skipped a beat

O'er an outcome guaranteed.

Quickened pulse 

Adrenaline pumps 

Pace is racing 

And it's scary.

This tempo tho' 

It's temporary.

If I don't feel nervous and

delirious 

Can my purpose be all that

serious?

When fear converts to fuel

Breakdown becomes breakthrough.

A lesson in my stressing:

Butterflies are a blessing.
