At one time or another, we are confronted with seemingly hopeless and unchangeable situations. In fact, our earthly experience is filled with these challenges. There seems to be no path forward, no way out, no prospect of victory. The temptation to give up in hopeless despair is strong. Many people, unfortunately, fall prey to this temptation. It needn't be this way. There is a light in the darkness.
This light is the same spiritual power responsible for your eternal salvation. The grace factor changes everything. Grace is a game-changer, a life-changer and a situation-changer, even when the world has no solutions to offer you. There is no such thing as an "unchangeable" situation or circumstance when the grace of God is in play.
Think about it. Grace changed the hopeless condition of spiritual death and eternal separation from God. There was nothing we could do on our own to escape the judgment of God on our sin-stained hearts. We were headed for a dark end. We had "no hope" and we were "without God in the world" (Ephesians 2:12). But Jesus Christ - the personification of Grace - changed that hopeless fate! "...now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ." (verse 13) If the grace of God can change that situation, then it can change ANY situation.
