Traffic in the Attic!

Hi there, my name is Alex.
This will sound dramatic
But I hear the havoc of traffic
Right up there in the attic.

I know it sounds sorta insane
(I will do my best to explain)
But over my head above
There's the chug-a-chug-chug
Of a busy choo-choo train.

I feel the rumbling of a big truck.
Now the arrival of a jumbo jet --
Just my luck!

I hear brakes slam in a traffic jam
While I chow down on my toast and jam.

I'm in the mood for some candy corn --
Not in the mood for those honking horns.

Those folks up there are in a rush
But I just wish they would hush!

Any other time
It would be just fine.
But I've got kid stuff
Right now on my mind.

The noisy vibration of lunch hour
Is messin' with my Lego tower.

They've got places to go,
People to see.
But I've got games to play,
Characters to be.

When I grow up,
It will be fantastic --
Then I will be free
From any traffic.

Right?
